About the Role

We are looking for a Footwear Designer who can bring fresh ideas to our women's footwear category. You will own the design journey and support merchandising activities to ensure smooth execution from concept to delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Footwear Design, Fashion Design, Leather Design, or a related field
• 1+ year of experience in women's footwear design
• Good understanding of footwear construction, materials, and product development
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, or/and other related softwares
• A portfolio that showcases your creativity, commercial awareness, and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

• Design new styles for women's footwear collections based on market trends and buyer requirements
• Create detailed tech packs, sketches, and specification sheets
• Select materials, colours, and components that are both beautiful and commercially viable
• Work closely with sample teams and artisans to bring designs to life
• Collaborate with merchandising and production teams to ensure design feasibility, cost efficiency, and timely delivery
• Research seasonal trends, sustainable materials, and innovative construction techniques
• Participate in buyer discussions, prepare design inputs for costing and quotations, and track sample approvals
• Coordinate with suppliers for materials and components as per design needs
• Present design concepts to buyers and incorporate feedback
